Clay Nights
Clay nights are a one-time, interactive class.
A two hour fully immersive experience, we’ll begin with a short heart-opening ceremony and then the instructors will provide a step-by-step demonstration on how to start creating with clay. Then it is your turn to make whatever you want!
Feel free to come alone or with a friend. We provide the clay and all tools needed to bring your ideas to life.
Handbuilding
Hand building offers full creative freedom. What you make is entirely up to you! The instructor will go over the 3 basic methods of hand building, give a short demonstration, and answer any questions. They’ll also come around and offer assistance or suggestions during class.
Hand building is easier than wheel throwing. So if you just want an introduction to ceramics or want a more chill evening we recommend hand building. It’s great for birthday parties.
There are 10 hand building spots available each clay night.
wheel throwing
Wheel throwing is the practice of making a vessel using a potter’s wheel. This class is about trying something new and having fun! The instructor will go over the basics, give you a short demonstration, and answer any questions, as well as come around and offer assistance or suggestions during class.
Wheel throwing is a bit messier than hand building so we highly recommend not wearing anything you wouldn’t want to get clay on and bringing a towel to class. Be ready to get a lil’ messy.
There are 9 wheel throwing spots available each clay night.
