SESSIONS

Sessions are once a week for 4-6 weeks and take you through the full creative process of making a ceramic piece.

We will provide you with one (1) 25lb. bag of clay and access to all the tools you may need. You will be able to make & glaze approx. 5-10 pieces each session.

Sessions can be taken as many times as you want. Your instructor will offer instruction based on your skills and what you want to create.

Handbuilding

Handbuilding is the creative method of sculpting clay with your hands using three main techniques: pinching, coiling and slab building. Handbuilding offers the creative flexibility to make anything you want!

Wheel throwing is the practice of making a vessel using a potter’s wheel. You will learn the basic steps to creating on the wheel, how to trim your pieces, and best glazing practices.
